Job Description


Position Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Relationship Manager to join our team and manage the Loan Against Property (LAP) portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing existing relationships, and driving business growth in LAP products. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure timely disbursements and collections.Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify, acquire, and onboard new clients for LAP products through lead generation, networking, and referrals.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to cross-sell LAP products and increase retention.
  • Product Knowledge & Advisory: Provide expert advice to clients on Loan Against Property offerings, including terms, interest rates, and repayment options.
  • Credit Assessment Support: Assist clients in preparing necessary documents for loan applications and coordinate with the credit team for credit assessments.
  • Loan Disbursement: Facilitate the smooth processing and disbursement of loans, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Sales & Targets: Achieve sales targets set for the LAP business, including loan disbursements, renewals, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Risk Management: Assess client financials and ensure all risks associated with loan products are minimized by recommending the best-fit solutions.
  • Customer Service: Address customer queries, concerns, and grievances in a timely manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to propose competitive LAP solutions.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work with internal teams like credit, legal, collections, and operations to ensure smooth loan processing and compliance.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or business development, preferably in LAP, home loans, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of loan products, especially Loan Against Property, including documentation, processing, and underwriting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and market trends related to LAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in an NBFC, bank, or financial institution, with a focus on LAP or similar loan products.
  • Good understanding of the property market and related valuations.
