Introduction The role supports the Regulatory Compliance Chief of Staff (based in London) and Assistant Vice President (based in Pune) to assist the Global Head of Regulatory Compliance to effectively manage and operate the Regulatory Compliance team. What will you be doing?
Assist with RC meeting its governance and reporting obligations, including co-ordination and preparation of internal functional reporting (including metrics, KPIs/ SLAs, and data themes, trends and insights) and external facing MI such as board, and Compliance management reporting.
Assist AVP in a range of functional management responsibilities, such as tasks related to the organisation and structure of RC, people agenda and risk and control related processes.
Assist with timely implementation of RC strategy and priorities where relevant.
Liaise with a range of internal RC colleagues progression of the above, operating with a One RC team and developing a simplified and effective way of operating together.
Provide ad hoc assistance to individual teams within RC as required on specific projects or the execution of the RC strategy and priorities.
What were looking for:
Experience operating in Barclays or another financial services firm in an Office type role and/ or in Compliance or another control function (e.,g. BIA, CCO, Legal, HR).
Experience producing timely and accurate internal governance and reporting papers, including MI, talking points, themes and insights.
Excellent organisational skills, able to deliver on time and to standard.
Experience of working with in a collegiate and effective manner with team colleagues/ stakeholders.
Excellent written and strong oral communication skills.
Skills that will help you in the role:
Professional qualifications, certifications and/or registrations relevant to Compliance.
Experience in a chief of staff/ office/ Compliance or other control function environment.
Experience of producing accurate reporting MI.
