We are seeking a highly skilled and professional registered nurse to join our team for the administration of IV therapy. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IV line management, cannulation, and providing exceptional care to clients in a calm and welcoming environment. The nurse will be responsible for delivering safe and effective IV therapy treatments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a professional, sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer IV therapy to clients, ensuring safety, comfort, and a positive experience.
• Perform cannulation with a single prick, ensuring proper placement and patient comfort.
• Establish and maintain IV lines with proficiency and expertise.
• Monitor clients during and after IV treatments, ensuring well-being and addressing any potential concerns.
• Record and document client information, treatment details, and any reactions to therapy accurately.
• Ensure all IV supplies, equipment, and materials are sterile, organized, and well-stocked.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
• Educate clients about the IV therapy process, potential benefits, and post-treatment care if any.
• Assist with any administrative duties related to client intake, scheduling, and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with other team members to create a seamless and supportive environment for both clients and staff.
Qualifications:
• Valid nursing license and EMD/Pediatric PICU/NICU experience would be preferred.
• Proven experience in IV cannulation and line management, with a focus on single prick technique.
• Strong knowledge of infection control, safety standards, and proper sterilization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures and address client concerns.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A calm and reassuring personality with the ability to manage clients' needs effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Previous experience in a salon, spa, or aesthetic setting is a plus, but not required.
