Clinical Responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment:
• Taking patient history, vital signs, and initial assessment.
• Recording symptoms and assisting in diagnosis.
2. Phlebotomy:
• Drawing blood samples using proper techniques and ensuring minimal discomfort for the patient.
• Labeling, handling, and sending samples to the laboratory as per protocol.
3. Assistance in Procedures:
• Preparing patients for medical procedures and assisting doctors during minor surgeries or diagnostic tests.
4. Medication Administration:
• Administering injections, dressings and other treatments as prescribed.
5. Monitoring:
• Observing patients for any adverse reactions or complications and reporting them promptly.
6. Health Education:
• Educating patients about their condition, medications, and follow-up care.
Administrative Responsibilities:
1. Documentation:
• Maintaining accurate records of patients, treatments, and consultations.
2. Appointment Coordination:
• Scheduling follow-ups and ensuring timely flow in the department.
3. Inventory Management:
• Ensuring the availability of medical supplies and equipment.
Interpersonal Skills:
1. Patient Interaction:
• Providing emotional support and addressing patient concerns.
• Ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality.
2. Collaboration:
• Coordinating with doctors, technicians, and administrative staff for smooth operations.
