Join our Sales & Marketing team with an unmatched depth of capabilities and help our customers solve some of the worlds toughest challenges.Regional Sales Manager is a techno commercial role responsible for promoting and developing GSD / CSD business with specific focus on NGS, qPCR, Microarray and CE instruments and associated consumables in the region through a team of account Managers and channels.Responsibilities:Maintain collaboration all vital departments to ensure sales are generated and are processed efficiently to achieve customer satisfaction.Drive sales activities, generate Leads and to close opportunities identified in the region and exceed revenue goals by maintaining existing business and develop new accounts.Implement a business plan for managing assigned territory annually by developing the teams capabilities.Support marketing programs in the territory as assignedMaintain contact with existing customers to promote new products/cross sell, close deals and grow sales, as well as develop new clientele.Develop a strong solid understanding of the features and benefits of driven products.Responsible to play an active role within assigned region to develop a workingKnowledge of funding, market dynamics & end-user needs.Leverage master-level competencies in the intelligent use of SFDC, developing insightful account reports and accurate forecasting.Manage pipeline growth, forecasting, activity reporting and stage maturation applying SFDC.Develop and maintain good working relationships with existing distributors; collaborate with distributors on prospect development, customer management, and staff competency development and consistently review and manage distribution network in the region.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Masters in Life Science stream/Biotechnology with 12 to 15 years of relevant industrial exposure. Management education will be added advantage.Prior experience and sound understanding of workflows in DNA sequencing, RT PCR, microarray and NGS and ancillary procedures- would be a preferred abilities.
