Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute retail sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share in the Mumbai region.
• Lead, manage, and motivate the retail sales team to meet and exceed performance goals.
• Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to expand the retail network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of retail sales staff.
• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to drive brand awareness and product visibility.
• Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Proven experience as a Retail Sales Head, Sales Manager, or similar role in the ceramics, tiles, or building materials industry.
• Strong understanding of the retail sales process and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Person Specification:

• Minimum of 8-14 years of experience in retail sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of the Mumbai retail market and customer base.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
