Yara Fertilizers India Pvt Ltd is a 100% subsidiary of Yara International ASA. Yara has supplied fertilizers as well as fertilizer raw materials to the Indian market for over two decades. Yara India has continuously strengthened its footprint in Western and Southern India by providing Crop nutrition solutions with combination of Premium products and Knowledge through unique Farmer centric approach.

Yara\'s philosophy is to connect with thousands of farmers at the grass root level and has a strong commitment to serving the agriculture sector in India, thereby improving the livelihood of Indian farmer. To leverage on this and to expand into the northern & eastern geographies of India, Yara acquired Tata Chemicals\' 1.2 MN MT Urea plant in UP, Northern India. With this acquisition Yara India\'s scale of operation has grown significantly.

Responsibilities

Planning, Budget and Reviewing-

  • Planning / monitoring of sales of Yara Vera & Premium Offerings / Distribution
  • Planning of rake plan for entire area on monthly basis and reviewing the material distribution.
  • Planning and reviewing of wholesales targets V/s achievement on monthly basis.
  • Monitoring sales/stock position of warehouses.
  • Dealer wise, moth-wise plan for all products & weekly review
Achievement of sales target:
  • To ensure achievement of agreed sales plan & to achieve maximum realization.
  • Monitor dealer wise sales and performance of dealers.
  • To ensure equitable distribution among parties.
  • Monitoring systematic market visit of the team .
  • Business Development
  • Channel Partner management & New business/new geographies
  • Identification of new business (new products/ new geographies) opportunities in area Financial evaluation of all such opportunities.
  • Expansion of market network, for deeper penetration and connect to retailers and farmers
  • Evaluate new retailing model in the territory: direct dealers, Agri malls, petro outlets, cooperatives, Online sales etc.
  • Initiate proposals for product pricing, schemes, retailer motivation, etc
  • Cost control - godowns, H&T, C&T, Std, Demurrage, Wharfage; prompt settlement of all claims, PVR, retailer contact, service centre functioning, channel relations.
  • Effective working on BHA compliance with all legal requirements, up to date and accurate stock recording
Payment Collection & Credit control.

Qualifications:

First Class Graduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture Domains

Proficiency in MS Office

Work Experience:

Minimum 8 - 12 Years of hands on experience of Sales in the Agriculture Industry.

Proven track record in the areas of operations.
