Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the Channel Sales team in the FMCG sector, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets and objectives. - Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence, drive revenue growth, and increase market share within the assigned region. - Utilize your expertise in channel sales within the food industry to identify and capitalize on business opportunities. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to foster collaboration and business development. - Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform decision-making and adapt strategies accordingly. - Create and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term business goals. - Manage the allocation of resources, budgeting, and forecasting to optimize operational efficiency and financial performance. - Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, performance improvement, and teamwork. - Regularly evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and alignment with company objectives. Qualifications: - A minimum of 4 years of experience in FMCG, with a strong focus on FMCG channel sales within the food Product - RTE. - Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. - Previous experience in team management and leadership roles, demonstrating the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members. - In-depth understanding of the food Product-RTE, distribution networks, and channel sales dynamics. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. - Strategic thinking and a results-oriented mind set, with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions. - Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
