Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
o Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
o Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
o Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
2. Team Management:
o Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives.
o Set clear performance objectives and provide ongoing coaching and support to the sales team.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
3. Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
o Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
o Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve any service issues promptly.
4. Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base.
o Develop proposals and presentations for potential clients.
o Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitable terms for the company.
5. Collaboration and Coordination:
o Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, finance, marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery.
o Participate in cross-functional meetings to align sales efforts with overall company goals.
6. Performance Monitoring:
o Track sales metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
o Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, MBA preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
