The Regional Manager - Key Accounts Management is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of Key Account Managers who handle the company's key clients within a specific region. This role involves developing strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and leading the team to deliver exceptional logistics solutions. The Regional Manager will ensure that the team meets its objectives and provides high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Team Leadership and Management:


• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Key Account Managers.
• Set performance objectives and provide ongoing coaching and support to the team.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans as needed.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.


2. Client Relationship Management:


• Oversee the management of key client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and satisfaction.
• Serve as an escalation point for client issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure that Key Account Managers are regularly contacting clients for updates and maintaining strong relationships.


3. Strategic Planning and Execution:


• Develop and implement strategies for managing and growing key accounts within the region.
• Align key account strategies with overall company goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue from key accounts.


4. Operational Oversight:


• Ensure that Key Account Managers are preparing accurate quotations for different locations of contractual clients.
• Oversee the negotiation of rates with online brokers and ensure favorable terms.
• Ensure timely placement of vehicles and follow-up with clients post-placement.
• Maintain oversight of vehicle tracking, ensuring that the team keeps accurate records and shares details with clients as required.


5. Compliance and Documentation:


• Ensure that all vehicle placements and client interactions comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Oversee the submission of loading memos, invoices, E-way bills, and other required documentation.
• Ensure accurate client rate documentation on POD copies and timely communication with the billing team.


6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:


• Monitor key account performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
• Implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and account profitability.


7. Market Research and Analysis:


• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
• Use market insights to inform key account strategies and identify new business opportunities.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.


Requirements:

• Bachelor's / Masters degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field + MBA (Preferred)
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in key account management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry and having experience of leading teams.
• Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel within the region as needed.


Candidate Location: Western suburbs


Salary: Rs.50K - 60 K per month (Fixed) + Incentives (Variable)
