Job Profile Summary Provides leadership and technical guidance in the areas of compliance, control, policy and process adherence, including identification and documentation of required actions/policies, conformance tests and ongoing monitoring issues to various departments. Role Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities - Provides leadership and guidance for compliance with Finance Control legislation, also internal processes, policies and procedures - Provides guidance to other departments on the identification and documentation of required actions/policies, conformance tests and ongoing monitoring issues - Assesses risks and develops control processes ensuring Finance Control framework conformance and certification - Continuously evaluates the scope and effectiveness of compliance programs and projects - Monitors strategies to remedy control and process deficiencies reports on status and clearance gaps to executive team - Coordinates work with internal and external auditors - Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to influence key stakeholders to meet schedules and goals - Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance - Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect organization at local and global level - Provides compliance training sessions to audiences at various organizational level and business units - Works with various stakeholders to ensure compliance goals, KPIs and SLAs are met - Suggests and implements improvements to current practice - Makes recommendations that may shape operational strategy - Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems of complex nature - Adapts traditional approaches to enhance existing procedures to resolve issues - Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan - Networking & creating visibility with other stakeholders about Compliance for driving Compliance & Risk culture Qualifications & Experience - Relevant degree or professional qualification - Experience in working and managerial knowledge of compliance and/or finance operations (7+ years) - Supervisory knowledge, skills & experience (will be a bonus) - Advanced understanding of relationships between functions within the company - Knowledge of applicable regulatory & compliance requirements, and business requirements - Experience in resolving a wide range of issues - Experience in managing through significant business change/transformation - Able to perform effectively under time pressure and to meet strict deadlines - Proactive, innovative with strong problem solving skills At LSEG, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise of creating essential partnerships and open opportunities.
