:Role: The role of Regional Commercial Manager is based at New Delhi.Business Context and OpportunitiesA global conglomerate, the Aditya Birla Group is in the League of Fortune 500. India's gems and Jewellery market contributed around 7% to GDP and 14% to Indiaxe2x80x99s total merchandize export in Februaryxe2x80x9921 with a market size was at US$ 78.50 billion in FY21. The jewellery industry in India is largely driven by individual family owned small to medium size businesses. Thus, the Group anticipates that there is scope of development of large retailers / brand in jewellery industry in near future. The venture will benefit from the retail experience, knowhow and trust build over the years with various ABG Luxury Retail Brands. It will also be able to harness the people, technical and operational capabilities from Groupxe2x80x99s retail arms. The range will be developed as a proof of concept for an integrated offering and may be diversified with multiple brands post establishment of a commercially viable business model.The business has successfully launched 10 stores by Octxe2x80x99 2024 under the brand name Indriya and the initial customer response has been very encouraging.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Business Planning, Budgeting & Variance Analysis:Responsibilities:Discuss Annual Operating Plan with Sales / Retail TeamCoordinate with HR / Admin Team and Sales / Retail Team to help gather inputs for regional expenditure projectionEnsure submission of budgets to HO Commercial within agreed timelinesPresent variance analysis to Sales / Retail Team in Monthly Review MeetingPresent Store Profitability Report in Monthly Review MeetKey Metrics:Cost ControlStore Profitability & Budget Reporting & Performance TrackingDeviations from projectionsAdherence to timelinesInventory ManagementResponsibilities:Oversee daily and monthly physical stock counts in collaboration with Store Commercial Managers and HO Commercial.Track and ensure timely dispatch of accumulated Old Gold (OG) to the warehouseWork closely with store for internal and external physical inventory counts, taking necessary action on discrepanciesEnsure GRNs for inventory, consumption, packaging material, and fixed assets as per SLAAssist store in resolving weight deviations or discrepancies during transitKey Metrics:Weekly Report on Old GoldShrinkage & Discrepancy Reporting & Action PlanDaily & Monthly Stock count Compliance with nil varianceDebtor & Accounts Payable ManagementResponsibilities:Partner with Retail / Sales Team in Debtors managementEnsure 100% balance confirmation from all business associatesEnsure all employee claims and vendor bills are processed within agreed timelinesApprove processing of all franchisees claims within SLA periodEnsure all petty cash expenses are appropriately booked and approved.Manage activation and deactivation of petty cash and Petro Card as required.Key Metrics:Debtors Ageing ReportBalance ConfirmationAdherence to SLAClaim monitoring, processing and payment as per SLABusiness Support: New Store Launch Set-up support:Responsibilities:TID Management: Activate and deactivate Terminal Identification Numbers (TIDs).CMS Coordination: Manage cash and cheque collection pickupsVirtual Accounts: Facilitate the opening of showroom virtual accounts and activation of online ENACH facilities.Banking Installations: Oversee installation and de-installation of EDC machines (Pinelabs, Paytm).Training during NSO Launch: Provide training and alignment of store commercials with SOPs.SOP Training: Conduct quarterly SOP training sessions with store commercial teams.IT Support Intervention: Assist stores with IT-related commercial issues.Ensure periodic follow-up with the recruitment team to fill the vacant positions within stipulated timeKey Metrics:Count of stores auditedAdherence to timeline4. Business Support: Compliance & AuditResponsibilities:Ensure adherence of SOPs and laid down policies and ensure its implementation at all the storesEnsure proper and timely approvals are in place in case of exceptionsLiaison with various departments (external and internal) to help obtain required permissions for store operations and regional officesEnsure compliance with various statutory laws and regulationsEnsure all necessary compliance licenses are acquired prior to expiration.Support audit requirements from authorities or managementReview and supervise status of audits and assessments periodicallyAdvise Ho Commercial about setting up new IT controls and improving existing IT controls on the basis of audit observationsSuggest changes in policy to business/commercial team based on audit observationsKey Metrics:Adherence to policies and statutory requirementsProper and timely approvals and permissionsCount of litigations and audit observationsProcess and policy adherence5.
