About the Role
We are seeking a Recruitment Officer with a strong background in recruitment, communication, and social media, preferably with experience in the security or manpower services industry. This role is ideally suited for an ex-serviceman with a passion for talent acquisition and the skills to effectively manage recruitment channels and social media platforms. The candidate should bring a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Talent Acquisition
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the company.
• Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Utilize social media platforms to promote job openings and attract potential candidates effectively.
• Candidate Screening & Interviewing
• Screen and shortlist applicants based on role requirements and organizational fit.
• Conduct preliminary interviews and coordinate with hiring managers for further evaluation.
• Ensure timely and accurate candidate assessments and feedback.
• Social Media & Communication Management
• Manage recruitment campaigns and job postings across social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
• Develop content that reflects the company's culture and attracts prospective employees.
• Respond to inquiries and engage with candidates on social media platforms to build a positive brand presence.
• Database Management & Reporting
• Maintain and update the candidate database with information on potential and existing candidates.
• Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and cost-per-hire, providing regular reports to management.
• Ensure all recruitment data and processes comply with company policies and regulations.
• Coordination with Internal Teams
• Collaborate closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and understand role requirements.
• Coordinate recruitment activities with HR and administrative teams to support seamless onboarding.
• Assist in organizing recruitment drives, career fairs, and other events to expand the candidate pool.
Qualifications & Skills
• Education : B.Sc. or B.A. degree; Diploma in Communication & Social Media preferred.
• Experience : Minimum 10 years in recruitment or a related field, with a preference for ex-servicemen in the security or manpower industry.
• Skills :
• Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, social media channels, and branding techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and social media management tools.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple roles and responsibilities simultaneously.
