We own and operate our own great value private schools, partner with governments to improve the quality of public school systems, and use our content and technology to help other education providers. Founded in Sierra Leone in 2014, we provided emergency education to children kept out of school by the Ebola Epidemic before opening our first school in April 2015. About the role:

The Recruitment Associate, Digital position is a high impact role with responsibility for sourcing, assessing and delivering top technical talent for our Digital team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finding top talent within the digital space and will leverage market data and talent acquisition expertise to educate hiring managers on making high quality hiring decisions.

The Recruitment Associate, Digital will own the candidate experience by acting as a company ambassador to internal and external candidates. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in digital recruitment within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

The Recruitment Associate, Digital will:

  • Proactively engage passive candidates through sourcing and pipeline building as well as adopting new sourcing channels for our digital team.
  • Provide market intelligence and strategy expertise to Business Partners and Hiring Manager to increase recruitment results for technical roles.
  • Identify, screen, and pre-qualify candidates for Rising digital roles through behavioural-based interviewing techniques.
  • Consult and Collaborate with internal partners on sourcing strategy, interviewing techniques and market data.
  • Provide complete, accurate and inspiring information to candidates and ensure an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication.
  • Mentor, train and guide other internal Team members in effective technical sourcing and candidate engagement techniques.
Location and reporting:

This is a full-time remote role on an initial 1 year fixed term, with the possibility for extension. The aim is to hire somebody based in, and with extensive knowledge of the job market in India.

The Recruitment Associate, Digital will report directly to Rising\xe2\x80\x99s Recruitment and Talent Manager.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of a combination of corporate and agency recruitment experience in technical recruitment.
  • Strong technical recruitment experience is essential.
  • Experience closing candidates and discussing compensation packages for technical roles.
  • Familiarity with the local talent organisations/market in India.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting/sourcing or a function of similar scope.
  • Experience in building and implementing a technical/digital talent acquisition strategy.
  • Experience in understanding and embodying the message and culture of the organisations you have recruited for.
  • Experience in building and cultivating relationships with clients and advising leaders on talent/hiring.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in utilizing creative sourcing resources and social media, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of IT hiring concepts and language.
  • Ability to create and execute effective talent acquisition strategies for various technical roles within the organisation.
  • Strong communication skills including ability to clearly articulate information and ideas orally and in writing; ability to communicate compellingly to impact and influence decision making.
  • Ability to provide quality candidates at all levels of the organization with a focus on sustained pipeline development throughout the Africa and India regions.
  • Good aptitude with demonstrated ability to create compelling interest in both the position opportunity as well as the candidate.
