Overview The right-hand person to the HR manager Assistant Manager supports the HR Manager in every aspect of running the HR department, from hiring new staff to resolving employee grievances and issues. Assistant HR manager may also be tasked with temporarily managing particular departments of the HR department. This might entail managing hiring initiatives during a staffing shortage or representing the HR manager at meetings with clients and suppliers. Assistant HR manager will need to stay up-to-date on these developments: The need for Diversity and Inclusion and Employee Engagement. Communication skills are essential and technical knowledge are required. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Collaborate with the hiring managers to determine hiring needs, position specifications, and work requirements Responsible for negotiation and closing offers, in consultation with key stakeholders Utilize necessary means to source candidates such as networking, online and internal database search, social media, advertising, job fairs, media and other measures as needed Responsible for pre-screening and/or interviewing candidates to determine level of interest, availability, and basic qualifications Act as a partner to hiring managers, guiding them the interview process and recruitment best practices as needed Coordinate interviews, testing and referring of applicants Recommend candidates to hiring managers based off evaluation of factors such as job experience, skills, fit, education, potential, etc. Provide reports that will track recruitment activity and KPI\'s (time-to-fill, open orders, candidate status, etc.) Utilize tools to build and maintain a candidate pipeline such as job boards, job fairs, social media, networking, etc. Provide prompt, courteous service to all internal and external customers Identify opportunities and recommend methods to improve work processes, documenting work flows, job descriptions, and job specifications Work in close partnership with the HR team to help facilitate onboarding Qualifications Qualifications: Minimum of 7 to 11 years of past recruiting experience in a corporate environment recruiting and sourcing at a variety of job levels Past experience in a Research/Management consulting environment preferred Bachelor\'s degree preferred Knowledge of HR policy, procedure, federal and state laws regarding employment practices Proficiency using applicant tracking software, electronic job boards, etc. Ability to diplomatically communicate with all levels of management and applicants Proven ability to manage what can be significant negotiations, working within constraints to create a mutually satisfactory outcome Strong organizational and time management skills Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Are Well-organized and detail-oriented Take ownership to work independently with remote supervision Can multi-task and meet tight deadlines Are disciplined and adhere to high-quality standards Is a strategic thinker understands how operational activities are vital in supporting the overall strategy of the business What will make you succeed at Frost & Sullivan Wildly curious and entrepreneurial Committed to customer success A self-starter invested in your future A persuasive communicator Deeply Analytical Excited about Disruptive Trends Benefits Competitive base salary plus bonus opportunity.
