Management Level HBusiness UnitClient Financial Reporting & PayrollJob TitleReconciliation Analyst- Senior Process ExecutiveReporting toPension Reconciliation ManagerDateJune 2023Main Purpose of JobThe role will involve interaction with internal and external stakeholders on a day to day or periodic basis.Working within a team, providing support to a variety of teams including Client Reporting, Treasury, Pension Administration and Payroll carrying out detailed reconciliations or reports across a variety of Pension and Insurance Schemes administered in house or as an outsourced function supporting clients own pension administration functions. Our client base is very diverse and encompasses DB, DC, Annuities and CASS Regulated schemes.Role Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Working closely with team members and internal stakeholders to ensure key deadlines and SLAs are met
  • Self-management of workloads, keeping manager and colleagues informed
  • Complete Unit Reconciliations for multiple schemes and clients to ensure that funds held with a Fund Manager reconcile with the administration database and any discrepancies highlighted to admin for resolution and ensuring correction
  • Complete Cash Reconciliations for multiple DC client bank accounts to monitor member funds held in the account, matching units and fund values, identifying and correcting any mismatches
  • Completion of Cashflow Forecasts and Funding Requests issued to client(s) to ensure sufficient funds held in the accounts are maintained
  • Identification, investigation and correction of unallocated cash or returned funds with Pension Accounts team
  • Working with the Operations Teams and the Accounting Teams to ensure records are in alignment for all receipts and payments
  • Completion of Monthly/Quarterly member level movements and reconciliation reports for various schemes and reconciling to financial movements, correcting any errors
  • Responsible for completion of daily and monthly client and trading reports to support the governance for a CASS regulated book of business
  • Provide ad hoc support to admin teams and respond to Auditor queries - provision of data and process control evidence etc
  • Supporting the development of robust processing documents ensuring these are maintained and updated in line with policy and procedure management plans.
  • Support the Reconciliation Manager in responding to a variety of queries and reconciliation anomalies and work professionally with stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Running ad hoc data extracts and reports
  • Identify and implement process improvement in immediate area of work responsibility to improve throughout and customer service
  • Carry out projects and run ad hoc data extracts and reports

  • Awareness of banking operation procedures and policies (ideal but not essential)
