Role Overview: As a receptionist/telephonist, you are the first point of contact for anyone entering the office or calling in. You play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment, ensuring that visitors and callers have a pleasant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Management: Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Manage incoming and outgoing calls, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
Communication Hub: Answer and screen phone calls in a professional manner.
Relay messages accurately and promptly to the intended recipients.
Handle inquiries and provide basic information to callers.
Appointment Scheduling: Schedule appointments and meetings for staff members.
Keep track of meeting room bookings and availability.
Mail and Package Handling: Receive and distribute mail and packages.
Notify employees of package deliveries.
Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth office operations.
Visitor Management: Issue visitor badges and maintain a record of visitor information.
Ensure security protocols are followed for visitors.
Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications:
