Position Overview:
As a Receptionist cum Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, both in person and over the phone. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service experiences and ensuring smooth operations at our front desk. Your primary responsibilities will include managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, handling customer orders, and providing assistance to customers with their laundry and dry cleaning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly, providing accurate information and addressing customer concerns.
3. Process customer orders, including receiving garments, tagging items, and entering relevant information into our system accurately.
4. Schedule pickup and delivery appointments according to customer preferences and company policies.
5. Coordinate with the laundry and dry cleaning team to ensure timely completion of orders and resolve any issues that may arise.
6. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects our company's standards of professionalism and cleanliness.
7. Handle cash transactions and process payments using our point-of-sale system accurately.
8. Educate customers about our services, pricing, and any promotions or discounts available.
9. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor as needed.
10. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing paperwork, updating customer records, and performing other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail or service-oriented environment.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
4. Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office applications and point-of-sale systems.
5. A positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
7. High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in customer service or hospitality management are a plus.
