Job Description

Front Desk Duties:

• Greeting patients and visitors: Welcome patients and visitors with a warm and courteous demeanor, following Avanaika Ayurveda's hospitality standards.
• Scheduling appointments: Manage appointment scheduling using the designated software system at Avanaika Ayurveda, ensuring efficient use of practitioners' time and minimizing wait times.
• Patient registration: Register new patients by collecting and verifying their demographic and insurance information as per Avanaika Ayurveda's protocols.
• Phone call handling: Answer phone calls professionally, answer patient inquiries about Avanaika Ayurveda's services and treatments, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
• Triage: Perform basic triage by asking patients about the nature of their visit and directing them to the correct Ayurvedic practitioner or service at Avanaika Ayurveda.

Administrative Tasks:

• Maintain patient records
• Billing and insurance: Process patient payments according to Avanaika Ayurveda's billing procedures, handle insurance claims and pre-authorizations, and answer patient billing inquiries.
• Inventory management: Maintain stock of essential supplies like herbal remedies used in Avanaika Ayurveda's treatments and ensure timely restocking.
• Clinic upkeep: Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the waiting area and reception desk, upholding Avanaika Ayurveda's standards for hygiene and ambiance.

Additional Responsibilities Specific to Avanaika Ayurveda:

• Understanding of Avanaika Ayurveda's philosophy and practices: Have a basic understanding of Avanaika Ayurveda's approach to Ayurvedic medicine, its core principles, and the specific treatments offered. This will allow you to effectively answer patient questions about Avanaika Ayurveda's unique approach to well-being.
• Appointment scheduling based on Dosha and Prakriti: Schedule appointments considering patient consultations with appropriate Ayurvedic practitioners at Avanaika Ayurveda based on their Dosha (body type) and Prakriti (constitution). Avanaika Ayurveda may have specific guidelines for this process.
• Answering questions about Avanaika Ayurveda's treatments: Provide general information about Avanaika Ayurveda's services and treatments, answering basic patient inquiries about these treatments in line with Avanaika Ayurveda's messaging and approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Build rapport with patients, answer questions clearly about Avanaika Ayurveda's services, and address concerns empathetically.
• Organization and time management skills: Manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Customer service orientation: Provide a positive and welcoming experience for all patients and visitors, upholding Avanaika Ayurveda's commitment to patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?8,086.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
