: As a Receptionist at eduvertex, you will be the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and staff members. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all interactions with the reception area are conducted efficiently, professionally, and with exceptional customer service. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere at our institution. Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Management: Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and respond to inquiries promptly and courteously. Direct calls and messages to appropriate personnel.
Visitor Assistance: Assist visitors with inquiries, provide information about our courses, schedules, and services. Offer guidance on navigating our facilities.
Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointments for students, parents, and staff members. Coordinate schedules and ensure timely communication regarding appointments.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to various departments as needed, including data entry, filing, and document management.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area and common areas. Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and upkeep.
Security Protocol: Monitor visitor access and enforce security procedures. Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Communication Liaison: Serve as a liaison between students, parents, staff, and management. Relay messages accurately and efficiently.
Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of events held at the institution, including workshops, orientations, and informational sessions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
