Role Overview
As the first point of contact for Nway Technologies, the receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The individual will manage front desk operations efficiently while supporting various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Management:
Greet visitors and employees warmly, ensuring a professional and welcoming demeanor.
Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently to the appropriate personnel or department.
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
Visitor Management:
Ensure proper visitor sign-in and badge distribution.
Coordinate with security for visitor access, as required.
Administrative Support:
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
Assist with scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, and maintaining office calendars.
Provide support for event coordination and company activities.
Employee Assistance:
Address employee queries related to administrative needs (e.g., stationery, meeting setups).
Act as a liaison between departments for smooth internal communication.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of visitors and calls.
Support the HR and Administration departments with filing and documentation as needed.
Miscellaneous Duties:
Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring inventory is up to date.
Handle other tasks assigned by the management to support business operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Business Administration or related field).
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
