Position Overview

We are seeking a warm, efficient, and professional Receptionist to manage front desk operations and create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The Receptionist plays a vital role in delivering a positive experience to all who enter our institution, acting as the first point of contact and ensuring effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and Welcome Visitors : Warmly greet patients, visitors, and staff as they enter the facility.
• Manage Inquiries : Address patient and visitor inquiries in person, via phone, and email, providing information on services and directing them to the appropriate department.
• Appointment Scheduling : Coordinate and schedule appointments for various departments, ensuring a smooth flow of patients.
• Patient Registration : Assist patients with the registration process, verifying details, and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintain Front Desk Area : Keep the reception area tidy and presentable, with all necessary materials available (forms, brochures, etc.).
• Administrative Support : Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents as required by the administration.
• Emergency Response : Act promptly and efficiently in cases of emergency, directing patients or visitors to the appropriate emergency facilities.
• Coordination : Communicate with medical staff and departments to ensure timely and effective services for patients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education : Minimum High School Diploma; a degree or certification in hospitality, customer service, or related field is a plus.
• Experience : Prior experience as a receptionist or in customer service, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and experience with hospital management software is an advantage.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Customer Service : Demonstrated ability to remain calm, empathetic, and courteous in interactions with patients and visitors.
• Organizational Skills : Ability to multitask effectively and maintain accuracy under pressure.
