Responsibilities:
Vendor Management: Identify, assess, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors for construction materials and services.
Negotiate terms and conditions, ensuring favorable agreements that align with project budgets and timelines.
Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and align procurement activities accordingly.
Cost Negotiation: Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality construction materials and services.
Continuously evaluate market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured materials and services meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the quality control team to assess and maintain construction material standards.
Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers and vendors, outlining terms and conditions, delivery schedules, and quality specifications.
Monitor contract performance and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
Budget Adherence: Work closely with the finance department to establish and adhere to project budgets.
Provide regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and potential cost-saving initiatives.
