Position: R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff, Product Development (CVS Apps)

Qualifications: Experience designing and developing desktop & mobile based applications using .Net and AVEVA proprietary XR Scripting.

Location: Hyderabad, India \xe2\x80\x93 Hybrid (~60% office, ~40% remote)

The job

As a part Common Visualization service(CVS) development group , you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for design, developing and maintain the immersive 3D applications for desktop, mobile and VR platforms, targeting engineering and operations use cases in the Industrial sector. You will work largely independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments; You will collaborate with a team for overall success of deliverables.

The team\xe2\x80\x99s responsibilities include the development of AVEVA Engage, a 3D Decision Support solution for operations and capital projects, in addition to other Extended Reality 3D visualization products in AVEVA\'s XR portfolio.

We are looking for talented Software Engineers with the skills and passion to successfully implement technical solutions to complex industrial problems using AVEVA\xe2\x80\x99s 3D Visualization and XR Framework technologies.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop and implement functional features as well as automated tests on CVS framework.

Perform advanced test case design analysis beyond the obvious functionality described.

Work with the Product Owner and other project Stakeholders to understand, define and implement solution requirements.

Participate in Scrum meetings with other team members including sprint planning and estimating; backlog refinement; daily Scrum meetings; sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.

Collaborate with colleagues in other development teams to ensure our XR solutions integrate seamlessly with other application in the AVEVA portfolio.

Ensure your code is fully reviewed, unit tested and documented, and delivered to agreed quality standards.

Desired experience

From most to least important:

Excellent analytical skills, open, proactive, results oriented, self-organized, and self-motivated

Expertise in design, developing .Net desktop & Mobile applications using .NET Core & .NET framework

Demonstrate examples of strong design and coding skills in multiple languages, one of which must be C#

Experience in developing touch friendly user interfaces including smooth animations.

Experience in WPF development is required.

Learns new skills through a balance of self-education, internal training, and mentoring.

Demonstrates optimal speed of execution for routine assignments.

Have followed Agile and scrum methodologies.
