Job Title R&D Program ManagerAs R&D Program Manager, you will be leading R&D projects or being member of an Integral project and leading and responsible for the R&D project scope, as part of global IGT Systems R&D project management. You will be responsible for the timeline and quality of all the R&D projects under your scope. As R&D Program Manager, you will be part of R&D Project Management Office under the leadership of IGT Systems Head of R&D Project Management.Your role:As R&D Program Manager, you will be leading R&D projects or being member of an Integral project and leading and responsible for the R&D project scope, as part of global IGT Systems R&D project management. You will be responsible for the timeline and quality of all the R&D projects under your scope.As R&D Project Manager, you will be part of R&D Project Management Office under the leadership of IGT Systems Head of R&D Project Management.Is responsible for formulating the (sub) project plan(s), in consultation with management and other parties concerned on base of the requirementsIs responsible to organize the resources to be used (quality, time, allocation, budget and information), helps the team(s) to organize and specifies the quality standard in the processesIdentifies the risks of the project (f.e. specs, costs, planning, etcetera) and develops scenarios to overcome these risks by defining corrective actions and driving the projects to closureCoaches and directs project team members and other program managers, gives them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally, including agile software development when applicableIs responsible and facilitates for implementation and realization and release (if applicable) by the project team according to the project plan (specification, quality, time, money, information) and organizationRepresents the (sub)-project team in the overall project to optimize fit for use and overall effectivenessDrives daily management and methodical problem solvingGathers and integrates project performance and progress information. Reports on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency on quality, status, time, and money to senior management and to the project memberEnsures that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project results and the associated knowledgeReports on employees performance to the hierarchical superior of the employees for the purpose of appraisalEnsures requirements and business case are defined, completed and approvedBuilds and maintains the project organization, helps the team to organize, chooses or coaches on the way of working and selects the adequate tools (tailors the approach to the specific project) and defines the interfaces with other functions, internal and external PhilipsIs responsible for quality initiatives to ensure quality deliverables of subsystems deliveredDeploys process improvements, supports continuous improvement of teams and makes the project organization efficient and transparent, in line with departmental and project processes and compliance to corporate policies/rules/proceduresManages internal and external stakeholdersKey performance indicatorsCustomer satisfaction, e.g. NPSLaunch reliability (or Milestone adherence)Time To MarketIn BudgetAll remaining Competing constraints consideredEmployee engagementSoftware quality (for project managers in software development) Example: working software and reduced defect countsYou are a part ofThe R&D PMO team in the Image Guided Therapy (IGT) business with 30+ experienced program and project managers, managing cross-functional assignments varying from small activities to big complex projects.In IGT, we aim to make the world healthier through innovation by providing to our customer the best portfolio of image guided therapy systems to support minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment for a variety of critical conditions.
