•Job Summary:•

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Manager specializing in wood coatings to lead our research and development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, overseeing the formulation and development of wood coatings, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

•Key Responsibilities:•

1. •Leadership and Management:•

- Lead and manage the R&D team, providing direction, mentoring, and support to ensure successful project execution.

- Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with company goals and market needs.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative working environment within the R&D team.

2. •Research and Development:•

- Oversee the formulation, development, and optimization of wood coatings products.

- Conduct research on new materials, technologies, and trends in the wood coatings industry.

- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of competitor products and industry standards.

- Manage multiple R&D projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

3. •Product Testing and Quality Assurance:•

- Ensure all wood coatings are tested rigorously to meet performance, durability, and safety standards.

- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish and maintain quality control procedures.

- Analyze and interpret test data to make informed decisions and improvements.

4. •Collaboration and Communication:•

- Work closely with other departments, including marketing, production, and sales, to align R&D activities with business objectives.

- Communicate technical information and project updates to internal and external stakeholders.

- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events.

5. •Documentation and Compliance:•

- Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.

- Maintain accurate documentation of research activities, formulations, test results, and project progress.

- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for product launches and regulatory submissions.

•Qualifications:•

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in wood coatings formulation and development.

- Proven track record of successful R&D project management and team leadership.

- Strong knowledge of wood coatings chemistry, materials, and application methods.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in using R&D software, laboratory equipment, and testing instruments.

- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

•Preferred Skills:•

- Experience with eco-friendly and sustainable wood coatings formulations.

- Familiarity with advanced analytical techniques and instrumentation.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?65,000.00 per month
