As a R&D Lab Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all laboratory operations within the TempRite CPVC research and development facility. You will lead a team of scientists and technicians and ensure the efficient and effective execution of research projects, development initiatives, and testing processes. Your role will be crucial in driving innovation, optimizing lab processes, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.What We\'re Looking For:

• Implement and maintain laboratory safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel and adherence to relevant health and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Support business directives to grow market share by overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of research projects and development initiatives, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
• Lead and manage a team of scientists and technicians, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the R&D labs, encouraging creative thinking and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and sales representatives, to understand market needs and translate them into viable customer solutions.
• Manage laboratory resources, including equipment, supplies, and budget, to support ongoing projects and research activities.
• Monitor and analyze lab data, results, and reports, and provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):

• PhD in Chemistry or Engineering (chemical or polymer)
• 10 Year + experience in plastics processing (CPVC preferred) industry (injection molding, pipe, profile, sheet, or foam extrusion experience preferred)
• Knowledge of ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials), BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), ISO (International Organization of Standardization) approval agencies and processes
