Deliver business value through Right and Fast partnership

• Lead/Support new product development projects in the area of Adsorbent for contaminant removal applications in Refinery, Petrochemical and Natural Gas processing industries

• Independently carry out experiments in laboratory pilot plant/reactor, data analysis and present to global team

• Understand fundamentals while working with new project and contribute to ideas with the alignment with business objectives

• Support adsorbent bed design guideline tool development programs by working with global R&D and Technical Service team

• Stay current on patent and open literature as they relate to Adsorbent development programs

• Ensure alignment and synergy with other R&D centers to avoid re-work, minimize duplication and benefit from lessons learned

• Utilize six-sigma tools as necessary to implement project work

• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Maintain compliance with Health Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures and adopt HSE requirements for safe laboratory operations.

• M.Sc or PhD in Chemistry/M. Tech/B. Tech in Chemical Engineering with 1-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in adsorbent/heterogeneous catalyst synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation

• Experience in UniSim and ASPEN tool is plus
• Knowledge of UOP technologies: Refining/Petrochemicals/Gas Processing applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong demonstration of teamwork abilities.
• Ideal candidate should have an aptitude to work in R & D setting and bias for action
• Ability to travel up to 10% on an annual basis.
• Familiar with Six-Sigma tools and their application.
