The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solutions division at Nashik, India. You will be mainly accountable for: \xe2\x80\xa2 Working as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision. \xe2\x80\xa2 Performing various tasks in the assigned area (e.g., mechanics, electronics, thermal, software), from building concepts, gathering requirements to designing, implementing, integrating, testing, technology transfer or maintenance, and operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding and applying applicable processes, standards, guidelines, and requirements, including architectural and design constraints. \xe2\x80\xa2 Driving the achievement of assigned targets (quality, time, scope, cost) and raising and addressing risks. • You are engaged in our R&D function were you enjoy working with design and development
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in new product development, design and type-testing of medium voltage switchgear products
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of CAD 3D softwares like - Solidworks or Creo & PLM softwares like Windchill
• You are passionate about drafting, reviewing designs with senior colleagues and coordinating with cross functional teams for new component development
• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in R&D
