As part of deploying the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines in Valeo, the main mission of this engineer is to address the following in close coordination with R&D SW developer and SysOps team. Ensure Deployment of CI-CD Pipeline to various software projects Monitor the CI-CD at runtime and proactively act in case of issues Responsibilities CI-CD Deployment & Monitoring: Challenge configuration management practices (GIT) Deploy CI-CD Jenkins Pipeline to various software projects Perform Infrastructure automation whenever applicable Deploy relevant monitoring tools to monitor CI-CD at run time Monitor Pipeline performance at run time and perform needed tuning Incident Management: Proactively detect and correct various CI issues Implement solutions to prevent recurrence of detected issues again Change Management: Act in proximity to software development teams Train the development team on CI-CD usage Reporting: Report set of defined KPIs to assess the platform health and the service level Education/Training B.E/ B.Tech. in Computer Engineering, Communication, or Electronics. B.Sc. in Computer Science / BCA Professional Experience 3 to 8 years of relevant experience. Key Competences (Transversal/Professional) Advanced expertise on CI/CD tools - Jenkins, git, gerrit, gcc,nexus Writing Pipeline scripts using Groovy Knowledge of Agile methodology and SDLC is must Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash/Shell scripting,...) is must Experience in operating system environment (Windows, Linux) Knowledge on Cloud Technologies (AWS Services) is plus Docker and Ansible knowledge is a plus Previous experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana is a plus Excellent Troubleshooting,debugging and problem solving skills Familiar with Ticketing systems (like Jira) Job: R&D IS Engineer Organization: R&D DSIS Delivery VHG Schedule: Full time Employee Status: Regular Job Type: Permanent contract Job Posting Date: 2023-03-23 Join Us !
