Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented R&D Designer to lead the design and development of innovative packaging solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting prototypes for fancy boxes, rigid boxes, and mono cartons, combining functionality with aesthetics to meet client and market expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new design concepts and prototypes for packaging solutions, including fancy boxes, rigid boxes, and mono cartons.
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and materials to create innovative and cost-effective designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, production, and procurement) to ensure designs meet brand standards and production feasibility.
• Select appropriate materials, considering sustainability, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
• Create detailed technical drawings, mockups, and 3D models using design software.
• Test and refine prototypes to ensure they meet functional, aesthetic, and cost criteria.
• Present ideas and prototypes to stakeholders and gather feedback for improvements.
• Maintain documentation for all design projects, including sketches, technical specifications, and material details.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in packaging design, especially with rigid boxes, mono cartons, and premium packaging.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 3D modeling tools).
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and printing techniques.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to balance innovation with practicality.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to convey ideas effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in sustainable packaging design.
• Familiarity with branding and marketing strategies related to packaging.
• Knowledge of cost analysis and supply chain considerations in packaging design.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
