R & D - Industrial Paints & Coatings

Job Summary:

As the R&D for Industrial Paints & Coatings, you will be responsible for leading all research and development activities aimed at enhancing product innovation, performance, and sustainability. This role involves managing a team of researchers, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and driving initiatives to maintain competitive advantage in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Research Strategy Development:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive R&D strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends.

- Identify opportunities for innovation and new product development in industrial paints and coatings.

B. Product Development:

- Oversee the development of new formulations and improvement of existing products.

- Ensure that products meet regulatory standards, customer requirements, and performance expectations.

C .Technology Assessment and Adoption:

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.

- Evaluate and implement new technologies, materials, and processes to enhance product performance and efficiency.

D.Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance procedures are implemented throughout the product development lifecycle.

- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and environmental requirements.

E.Budget and Resource Management:

- Manage R&D budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines effectively.

- Optimize resource utilization to achieve cost-effective outcomes without compromising quality.

F.Qualifications:

- Degree (Ph.D. or Master's/Graduate) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.

- Proven experience (7 -10 years) in R&D leadership roles within the industrial paints and coatings industry.

- Strong technical expertise in formulation chemistry, polymer science, and surface coatings.

- Demonstrated track record of successful product development and commercialization.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

- Ability to think strategically, innovate, and drive continuous improvement.

Working Conditions:

- This position typically operates in a laboratory and office environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?800,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
• Shift allowance
