R&D Chemist - Industrial Paints & Coatings

Job Summary:

We require R&D Chemist for the Industrial Paints & Coatings Industry, who will be responsible for leading all research and development activities aimed at enhancing product development , performance, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research Strategy Development:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive R&D strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends.

- Identify opportunities for new product development in industrial paints and coatings.

2. Product Development:

- Oversee the development of new formulations and improvement of existing products.

- Ensure that products meet regulatory standards, customer requirements, and performance expectations.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance procedures are implemented throughout the product development lifecycle.

- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and environmental requirements.

4. Budget and Resource Management:

- Manage R&D budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines effectively.

- Optimize resource utilization to achieve cost-effective outcomes without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

- Degree ( Ph. D./ Master's/Graduate) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.

- Proven experience (7 -10 years) in R&D leadership roles within the industrial paints and coatings industry.

- Strong technical expertise in formulation chemistry, polymer science, and surface coatings.

Working Conditions:

- This position typically operates in a laboratory and office environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?800,000.00 - ?1,000,000.00 per year
