About Liability Sales
The Liability Sales department focuses on for acquiring customers with segment driven relationship model that serves clients across the full spectrum of consumer banking needs. The department drives business from 4500+ branches and is responsible for sourcing of retail and corporate deposits, salary and non-salary accounts, trust accounts and forex Business with a view to increase the retail book of the bank.\xef\xbf\xbd
About the Role
Regional sales manager will be responsible for Sales structure for the location. The incumbent will be responsible for acquisition of the entire gamut of banking products through a team Sales managers and Key account managers who in-turn manage a team of In-sourced bankers trained in multiple products
Key ResponsibilitiesClient acquisition growth and wallet deepeningResponsible for managing location for Liability Sales products and Business Deepening.\xef\xbf\xbd Liability products - Corporate Salary Accounts\xef\xbf\xbd Cross Sell of Cards, Personal loan Mortgages and all other consumer products.\xef\xbf\xbd Corporate Engagement through KAMs to deepen Corporate Salary portfolio and increase new labels.Financial (Sales Management/Performance)

  • Responsible for acquisitions for the entire gamut of banking products through a team of Sales manager and In-sourced bankers trained in multiple products
  • Leading & Managing performance of the team with acquisition targets in all products across the bank, to deliver / achieve plan numbers across the above product lines
  • Responsible for formulating sales strategies to increase NOA from Corporates in existing labels and getting new labels onboarded.
People (Team Management)
  • Create a Sales Organization which is self-driven, customer centric, highly motivated and "best in class".
  • Mentoring of Sales Managers, KAM and to be able to create business opportunities for their teams
  • Accountable for Sales Performance / Productivity of the region along with their career progression and cross product training and origination.
  • Ensure overall units attrition is within the prescribed levels
  • To manage, motivate and guide the team with business directional and cultural clarity
Franchise (Managing Relationships / Expanding footprint)
  • Responsible for all Sales & Distribution lead initiatives in his/her geography - including market sizing, increasing penetration in existing channels, perceptual scale driven micro-marketing activities.
  • To forge new partnerships with a view to expand the target market within approved segments. Responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with decision makers in identified corporates.
Process (Sales adherence to Compliance and Quality)
  • Ensuring adherence to Compliance guidelines / Audit requirements
  • Address the right mix and portfolio quality
  • Ensure compliance and integrity of the Distribution w.r.t. recruitment, sourcing and documentation
  • Responsible to build a compliant culture and teams adherence to compliance frame work at all times
  • To cultivate a \xef\xbf\xbd No Surprises\xef\xbf\xbd culture on control aspects
QualificationsOptimal qualification for success on the job is:\xef\xbf\xbd MBA / CA / equivalent from a recognized institute\xef\xbf\xbd 15-20 years of progressive sales experience across diverse product sets & exposure to various processes related to the Sales
Role Proficiencies:For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following:1. Strong team-work with good leadership and motivational skills2. Strong analytical skills - ability to multi task and handle sales complexities3. Ability to interact with multiple product groups within GCG4.
