About the Role
Investments Counselor manages the sales team of Affluent resources for each circle. This team will comprise of resources, whose focus will be to ensure delivery of the Investments & Insurance Fee Plan for the Affluent segment across their circles, drive growth in AUMs, drive portfolio actions, ensure implementation and regular review of all control parameters, monitor trends on sales across their circles, manage large and critical key client relationships along with the Affluent team. They also focusses on NOA to ensure regular and quality increase in their segment of Affluent clients and ensures upskilling for the entire Affluent team in their circles.
Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Allocation\xef\xbf\xbd Assist in the investment portfolio asset allocation of customers.\xef\xbf\xbd Allocation between different asset classes & subclasses.\xef\xbf\xbd Decisions on products with the asset / sub-asset class.\xef\xbf\xbd Meeting / interaction with the respective RM and the clientPortfolio Monitoring / Review\xef\xbf\xbd Monitor specific portfolios (HNWIs / Corporates)\xef\xbf\xbd Reallocate these portfolios as and when requirement for risk management or sales opportunity comes up.Economics & Product Expertise\xef\xbf\xbd Coach RM teams on latest products and research available\xef\xbf\xbd Conduct the market update calls for the RMs on a regular basis\xef\xbf\xbd This will require being completely updated on the latest market trends (macro, sectoral, domestic, global); is not required to do his own research and only takes the view of the internal research experts.Investment Product Research\xef\xbf\xbd Source / Evaluate (due diligence) investment products for distributing to the HNW client base of the bank\xef\xbf\xbd Client calls (along with the RM) to educate, provide details and source investments in these products\xef\xbf\xbd Regular interaction with the product providers for product updates, market feedback, etc. and internally communicate the same
QualificationsOptimal qualification for success on the job is:\xef\xbf\xbd Graduation/Post-Graduation from a recognized institute\xef\xbf\xbd one or more of the following: MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, CFP\xef\xbf\xbd Overall experience of up to 7 years in financial markets including debt, equity, mutual fund AMCs, etc. or in asset allocation and investment management of HNI customersRole Proficiencies:For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess the following:\xef\xbf\xbd Knowledge on financial markets including debt, equity, mutual fund AMCs, etc. or in asset allocation and investment management of HNI customers.\xef\xbf\xbd Good understanding of the various investment products including mutual funds, bonds, money market instruments, equity, alternate products, etc\xef\xbf\xbd Understanding of quantitative asset allocation methodologies.\xef\xbf\xbd Ability to develop view on risk associated with different product investments.\xef\xbf\xbd Capability to satisfactorily engage with the client to analyze risk appetite and investment goals.\xef\xbf\xbd Ability to work with experienced team.\xef\xbf\xbd Ability to understand, synthesize and communicate insights from central Investment advisory / research team to RMs.Skills:Refer to the About Company:Axis Bank is the third largest private sector bank in India.
