Job Description

Operating Imaging Equipment:

Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray, ultrasound, Fetal ultrasound or other medical imaging equipment.

Preparing Patients : Position patients correctly and provide them with protective equipment to ensure accurate imaging and minimize radiation exposure.

Following Protocols : Adhere to established protocols and procedures to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Assisting Radiologists : Assist radiologists in performing imaging procedures, including patient positioning, monitoring during procedures, and ensuring patient comfort.

Evaluating Images : Review images for quality and clarity, ensuring that the necessary views have been captured before presenting them to radiologists for interpretation.

Maintaining Equipment : Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working order; troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.

Documenting Procedures : Record patient information, imaging procedures performed, and any other relevant details accurately in medical records or computer systems.

Ensuring Safety : Follow radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize radiation exposure risks to patients, staff, and themselves.

Continuing Education : Stay updated on advancements in imaging technology, safety protocols, and medical procedures through continuing education and training.

Patient Care : Provide compassionate care to patients, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the imaging process.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
