Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiologist to join our team. The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, and providing accurate and comprehensive reports to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpretation of Medical Images: Analyze and interpret X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and other diagnostic imaging studies for various body parts.
• Report Generation: Prepare detailed and accurate reports based on imaging findings to assist referring physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Consultation: Provide expert consultation to referring physicians regarding imaging findings and their clinical implications.
• Patient Interaction: Communicate effectively with patients to explain imaging procedures and answer any questions or concerns.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and quality control programs to ensure the highest standards of imaging and reporting.
• Continual Education: Stay current with advances in radiology and imaging technologies through continuing education and professional development.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including radiologic technologists, nurses, and medical staff, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Research and Development: Engage in research activities to advance the field of radiology and contribute to the development of new imaging techniques and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Certification: Board certification in Radiology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent.
• Licensure: Valid state medical license to practice radiology.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology, with expertise in interpreting X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans.
• Skills:
• Proficient in the use of radiology software and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
• Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in reporting.

Working Conditions:

• Environment: Hospital, clinic, or imaging center setting.
• Hours: Full-time, with the possibility of on-call or extended hours as needed.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, operate imaging equipment, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
