Position description: To Build and execute Category entry and growth plans, Drive innovation, Own the launch volume and value as well as the P&L for the innovations
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage New Product Development timeline launch
• Identifying new business opportunities in the various categories handled by meeting consumers regularly and being aware of need gaps in the market and tapping those areas
• Develop business plans for opportunities identified
• Implementing sale strategies to drive Sales growth (Revenue) in assigned area along with key GTM parameters.
• Developing & Managing an efficient distribution network as per distribution strategy
• Build and Promote strong, sustainable relationships with Distributor and Salons
• Identify and expand in new emerging markets
• Bring perspective on competition Benchmarking, market Intelligence wrt to product comparison, New Product, pricing, scheme etc.
• Plan and schedule timely deliveries to meet salon needs.
• Planning and implementing strategies for new product launch through Channel partners
• Ensure Salon queries are appropriately handled by the team and are resolved within the stipulated timeframe.
• Monitor Distribution , new outlet/salon opening and repeat business from existing salons
• Drive activities to gain market share in alignment with ASM/ Trade promotion team
• Identifying & networking with financially strong and reliable partners ,resulting in deeper market penetration & reach.
• Develop the category /brand strategy that delivers consumer loyalty and generates demand
• Develop and execute category advertising and promotion campaigns with cost effective media mix to support brand objectives
• Should always have in-depth understanding of competition and their progresses through regular Market Visits and by means of Syndicated research tools like IMRB panel Data and AC Nielsen Retail Data.
• NPD launch value, volume and profitability
• Coordinate all category product initiatives through the entire value chain to ensure seamless execution and profitable growth
• Should have a growth mindset and ready to deliver as per company expectations.

Educational qualifications preferred
• Category: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree
• Field specialization: Sales, merchandising and other allied operations
• Degree: Master of Business Administration - MBA
