FunctionProcurementPay BandM3 to M5RoleAs Lead Quick Sourcing you will be responsible for:

• Managing Procurement to Payment of Indirect Purchasing Area - development of sourcing strategy, Supplier\'s Selection, RFQ, query resolution. Comparative formation, PO creation, follow up, payment follow up and statuary forms
• Business process re-engineering and IT automation - identification of projects and implementation - examples: vendor rationalization, product standardization, SOP formulation, system generated RFQ/comparative .
• To identify LEAP projects for cost savings
• To develop a robust team of category buyers
• Team management - sub-ordinates (buyers) - comparative check, PO release and timely reviews, develop team work & harmony in department
• To help team members for timely execution of PRs
• Creation of SOP
• Setting up Governance mechanism

A Day in the lifeFocussed cross department (Procurement) team working for a single organizational requirementConceptualizing/Brainstorming and building the new/future process (including controls)-IT based solutions (Team activity).A purpose driven role for youYour key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:Approval of comparatives & Purchase ordersPrice settlement with suppliersAnnual rate contractsSupplier visitsDevelopment of alternate suppliersTo increase overall Cost & Delivery efficiencies, Supplier consolidation, Automation of processes & e-procurement practices category wise.Preparation of Monthly Management reviewTimely conversion of PR-PO Within 7 to 15 Days, Query Resolution, Availing quotes from suppliers, Planning, Comparative statement preparationDevelop self sourcing mechanism through Catalogue buyingCo-ordination with user in case specs are not clearComparative preparation& submission for approvalCreating Purchase ordersSupply performance monitoringAcademic Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor\'s degree

• MBA in Operations & Supply Chain Management/ Materials Management would be preferred.

• Minimum 10+Yrs in a supply chain/ Indirect procurement /shared services role.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Strong Blend of Process design, program management and people management skills.

• Strong ability to source and analyse data to drive business strategies and decision.

• Demonstrated ability to challenge the status-quo and champion best in class solution and problem solving across function and cross function.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Leading and coaching team to high level of performance.

• Good knowhow of IMS standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001.

• MS Office, MS Project, Project Management

• Oversee the Implementation of Process Improvement throughout the Function.
