Position: Quantity Surveyor (QS) and Billing Engineer

Responsibilities:

Quantity Surveying: Prepare and analyze project cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
Conduct quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with project managers to assess and manage project costs throughout the construction lifecycle.
Evaluate and negotiate variations in the contract to ensure fair and accurate compensation for changes in scope.
Monitor and report on project cost performance, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Billing: Prepare accurate and timely billing statements for clients based on project milestones and completed work.
Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary information for billing purposes.
Verify the accuracy of invoices and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Maintain detailed records of billing transactions and update financial databases.

Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation and evaluation of contracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements and company policies.
Monitor compliance with contract terms and conditions, identifying and addressing any deviations.
Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to resolve contractual issues.

Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to ensure that projects are executed within budgetary constraints.
Analyze cost reports and provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
Collaborate with project teams to develop and update cost forecasts.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to quantity surveying, billing, and contracts.
Prepare and submit regular reports on project cost and billing status to management.

Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients regarding quantity surveying, billing, and contract-related matters.
Attend project meetings and provide expertise on cost-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Billing Engineer in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, billing processes, and cost control.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel,
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

Pay: ?22,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
