Job Description

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to be part of a team supporting our UK Sector teams providing; Rail, Highways, Infrastructure, Property, Industry and Energy Quantity Surveying services on several global projects for numerous key clients.


As part of the team you will assist and enhance the service offering, and you will be part of an expanding WSP growth strategy.


Due to business growth and future expansion strategies the business is currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to be based in our Noida office

The Key Activities would include (but not be limited to):

• Supporting UK with bidding and tender opportunities and proposals
• Responsible for quality delivery of services
• Assist in the preparation, reporting and presentation of feasibility estimates, cost plans, cost models, contractor procurement, tenders, value engineering, fee generation, post contract cost reporting, change control, final account etc.
• Attend a range of internal meetings via Teams throughout the various stages of a project.
• Produce project performance information, collating benchmark data, case studies and project profiles
• Actively participate and support the bidding and tender opportunities.
• Interfacing with multi-disciplinary project teams
• Seek regular feedback on team performances, ensure criticisms are positively converted into opportunities for improvement
• Experience of international and/or UK construction
• Experience of UK Methods of Measurement (MCHW, SMM, CESMM)
• Experience of working on a range of infrastructure, rail, energy and commercial projects across varying stages of the project life cycle.
• Track record of technical experience in commercial management
• Excellent communication, internal client handling, interpersonal skills and listening skills with the ability to influence and interact with people
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Open minded and intellectually agile
• Understand own strengths and impact, adapting behaviour according to different situations and individuals
• Professional manner and able to work effectively under pressure
• Act ethically with fairness, honesty and integrity

Estimation, Boq Preparation, quantity surveying, Commercial Management, Cost



Skills and Qualifications:



• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of construction law and building regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
