You will be based in our Head Office and responsible for preparing Detailed BOQ for all kinds of active and in the pipeline Construction projects (Civil, Road, and Structure/Bridges etc.). Further you shall have experience in preparing documents and applying for Government Tenders through Eprocurement website specially for NHAI, MoRTH etc.

Detailed Job Duties shall include but not be limited to the following:
? Estimating quantity and items as per drawings.
? Review of scope of work, project Preamble, Drawings and Specifications.
? Review the Schedules of Project Agreements and detail work involved in Schedule B, C and D etc.
? Confirm work requirements in line with IRC as well as MoRTH guidelines.
? Ensure quantity are within the company standards and project requirements and scheduled Scope are available in the project system/tracker/database for Monitoring.
? Find ways to optimize on quantities within purview of MoRTH and IRC Codes.
? Monitoring of field design/drawing changes as per site conditions and coordinating with site procurement team and Billing team regarding changes.
? Collecting data from each project site regarding materials procured and making comprehensive analysis of consumption patterns, wastage as well as identifying any leaks in the system.
? Evaluations of Site Instruction with Planned cost in comparison to original approved contract scope of work and identify difference in scope of works and subsequently finalize the site P&L.
? Ensure that the subcontractor submits a new price If activity is not included in original scope of works and subsequently process the new price for evaluation and approval from management.
? Assessment of change work Orders and Variations (Subcontractor and Client) in line with the Contract of Agreement.
? Monitor flow of Payments to subcontractors against budget quantities and actual progress done.
? Evaluation of Progress Measurement submitted by Subcontractor QS and generating reports to Company's Main system for progress Measurement and Accounting.
? Review and Assessment of complex and high-risk scope of works for possible Value Engineering.
? Review of Tender Documents and Client requirements. Searching for new tenders across multiple government and private websites and updating management.
? Evaluation of Material Specification and Prices of Vendors /Subcontractors against Project Specifications.
? Monitoring projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects.
? Coordinate technical and Commercial meetings with client and subcontractors.
? Conduct Joint survey by both Parties going to site visit, and check to actual work done Progress Measurement aligned with Finalized Weekly Progress Percentage.
? Extra item rate analysis, certification, and raising requirement for payments.
? Preparing deviation and variation statement for final payments of the Contractors.
? Process implementation with periodic reviews and recommendations for process improvement for business effectiveness.
Requirements
? Hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction-related qualifications or other qualified estimation certificates
? Masters degree in construction management etc will place you above other candidates.
? Experience in NHAI contractor is a must. Experience with NHAI authority dealing with senior level government officers will be a plus.
? Experience of tendering and other requirements mentioned above is a must.
