About the Role:We require a reliable Quantity Surveyor to join our capable team of professionals. The Quantity Surveyor will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors and building relationships with clients and site managers.Designation - Quantity SurveyorJob descriptionRoles & Responsibilities:
  • Ability to read, analyse both Structural and architectural and give the valid feedback
  • Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity take off and updating the data as the design revisions are made
  • General QS requirements including but not limited by:
  • Rate analyses for various constructional activities with proper knowledge of coefficients used as per industry standards
  • Preparation of BBS
  • Reconciliation of various A-class material
  • Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
  • Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
  • Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Traveling from the office to various sites as required and documenting/reconciling quantities of various materials
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Sound knowledge of construction.
  • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and strategize
