They currently are located in Nelamangala and cater to projects in North, West and Central Bangalore. Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Controller to join our team at a ready-mix concrete plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of concrete production processes, quality control procedures, and industry standards. The Quality Controller will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality ready-mix concrete that meets customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Quality Control: Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, equipment, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Perform regular tests on concrete samples to assess strength, durability, and other relevant properties. Monitor and analyze production processes to identify potential quality issues and recommend corrective actions. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality tests, inspections, and production data. Prepare quality reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that all quality-related documents are organized and easily accessible. Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications. Collaborate with regulatory authorities and third-party inspectors as needed. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure and healthy work environment. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with the production team to implement changes. Participate in root cause analysis of quality issues and contribute to the development of preventive measures. Training and Development: Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices. Stay updated on the latest advancements in concrete technology and quality control methods. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in quality control within the ready-mix concrete industry is highly desirable. Knowledge of concrete mix design, testing methods, and relevant standards (ASTM, ACI, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and regulatory authorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
