Job Description

Inspecting Sheet Metal: Reviewing

sheet metal before, during, and after cutting and folding operations to ensure it meets specifications.

Using Inspection Tools: Utilizing

measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions, angles, and other critical parameters.

Reading Blueprints and Drawings: Interpreting

technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing instructions to understand quality requirements.

Identifying Defects: Detecting

flaws such as dents, scratches, wrong bends, and dimensional inaccuracies.

Documentation: Recording

inspection results, noting deviations, and preparing detailed reports on defects and corrective actions.

Communication and Collaboration: Communicating

quality issues to production supervisors and collaborating on corrective actions to prevent defects.

Process Improvement: Identifying

areas for improvement in production processes and recommending changes to enhance quality and efficiency.

Ensuring Compliance: Adhering

to relevant industry standards, regulations, and company quality procedures.

Training and Mentoring: Providing

guidance and training to production personnel on quality control procedures and inspection techniques.

Calibration and Maintenance: Ensuring

measuring equipment is calibrated and maintained according to established procedures.
