Position : Quality - Test Lab Incharge .
Department : Quality
Reporting to V.P Operations.
Qualification : B.E Electrical/Diploma - Electrical Or Electronics.
Experience : 3 - 7 Years.
Reported by : Quality team members
Preferred Industry : Electrical

Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Establish and maintain life testing of products.
2. Establish and maintain lab for BIS licensed products.
3. Establish and maintain compliances as per BIS's scheme of testing and inspection (STI).
4. Maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
5. Establish and maintain a system to assure required quality levels in manufacturing processes, procured materials/ components and workmanship.
6. Establish system to address customer complaints through Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions.
7. Ensure necessary assistance to manufacturing in quality areas.
8. Conduct training of production employees on quality systems procedures and their responsibilities towards quality.
9. MIS Reporting.

Skills/Knowledge desired :

Working knowledge of following is desirable-
1. ISO 9001 quality Management Systems.
2. Procedure of acquiring BIS licenses for products and maintaining the same.
3. Quality problem solving techniques
4. Various quality and other related tools such as 7QC tools, Poka-Yoke techniques, Kaizens, 5S.
5. Statistical process control and its applications,
6. Electrical theory and practical applications, functions of electro mechanical devices.
7. Various switchgear products, LED lighting, wiring devices and their manufacturing processes.
8. Measuring and testing equipment's calibration procedures and programs across the factory.
9. Well versed in MS Office- (Advance Excel added advantage).
