Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Executive to join our team at our Galvanized Iron (GI) plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products throughout the production process, from raw material inspection to final product testing. The Quality Executive will monitor and enforce strict adherence to quality standards, perform regular audits, and collaborate with production teams to ensure that products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality standards.

Conduct regular inspections and testing of products at various stages of production, including visual, mechanical, and chemical tests.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities. Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly quality reports to the Quality Manager.

Investigate non-conformance issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

Ensure that production processes comply with internal and external quality standards, including industry regulations, safety requirements, and environmental guidelines.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of quality-enhancing initiatives.

Provide training to production staff on quality standards, inspection methods, and safety procedures.

Participate in internal and external quality audits, ensuring all required documents and evidence are available for review.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing plant (GI plant experience is a plus).

Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001) and other quality certifications.

Knowledge of the galvanizing process, coating techniques, and related quality standards is preferred.
