Sidhakala Engineers Form Job title: Quality Engineer-NPD Work Location: Bhosari-Pune Department: Design & Development Reports to: Manager (Design & Development) \xe2\x97\xbc Full-time Part-time Exempt \xe2\x97\xbc Nonexempt About Company: Sidhakala Group of Industries founded in 1997 is a press components, press toolings and welded assemblies manufacturing company. It comprises of two main units: Sidhakala Engineers (Bhosari plant); Sidhakala Industries (Chakan plant) Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor degree (Engineering)
- Over 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a Sheet Metal Press Part manufacturing company or a similar role
- Good computer proficiency (MS Office \xe2\x80\x93 Word, Excel)
- Experience with Auditing systems based on ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949. Hands-on experience in a Sheet Metal Part Manufacturing Company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to work independently, carry out duties in assigned time, effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Perform regular quality assessments on all stage-wise process-produced components.
- Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality on product development to ensure compliance with company quality and applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
- Utilize and document reports of the tools of APQP (PPAP, FMEAs, control plans, capability studies) throughout the NPD process. Develop and manage an open issues list to drive to on-time closure with a cross-functional team.
- Conduct process audits for all disciplines of the NPD process to ensure the accuracy of paperwork, test reports, and compliance with NPD procedures.
- Facilitates root cause investigations including all project 8D\'s and 5Y\'s including reporting status to closure.
- Lead Risk Management activities including analyzing field data to update Risk Management File documents such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Hazard Analysis, and Risk Management Plan/Report.
- Lead and support Corrective Action Preventive Actions (CAPAs) in a timely and objective manner.
