Key AccountabilitiesDescription 1. Quality Management Systems & Controla. Understand quality requirements and develop quality management systems. Define quality parameters & measures to assess & improve quality function.b. Quality Assurance (QA) Planning: Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures to ensure that services meet quality standards and customer requirements.c. Quality Control (QC) Processes: Establish and maintain quality control processes to monitor operations and ensure compliance with quality standards.d. Study drawings & check the inward/in process/final quality parameters and identify deviations from quality norms.e. Fill up non-conformance report & inform quality deviations to the concerned department. Ensure corrective measures are taken to improve quality parameters. Maintain documents & reports related to deviation.f. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that Equipment/Material/components meet quality requirements. Conduct supplier audits and assessments as needed.2. Quality Awarenessa. Develop quality policy, create awareness about quality systems/parameters and develop culture of quality consciousness in the Organization.b. Conduct periodical meetings with project team to improve on quality compliance. Provide periodical trainings to employees on quality management systems.c. Training and Development: Provide training and support to employees on quality standards, processes, and tools to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.3. Customer Managementa. Visit customers, Site & understand quality requirements & provide support for effective implementation of quality management systems.b. Attend customer complaints. Do analysis & identify areas of improvements. Communicate customer complaints to concerned employees. Take measures to resolve complaint on priority and improve on customer satisfaction.c. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues and non-conformities to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.4. Quality Compliance & Standardsa. Design quality manual and departmental work procedures as per quality standards. Ensure systems are followed by all departments and necessary records are maintained.5. Testing and Inspection:a. Design and conduct tests and inspections on materials, components, and finished products to identify defects, non-conformities, or areas for improvement.6. Regulatory Compliance:a. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO standards, FDA regulations) to meet legal and customer requirements.b. Prepare plan for internal audits. Conduct audits as per plan. Prepare audit report.c. Take measures to close non conformities and improve quality delivery."7. People Managementa. Set departmental goals and align with individual goals. Identify training and development needs of team members & design development plan.b. Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to production teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and promote a culture of quality.8. MIS & Reportinga. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and corrective actions taken. Prepare reports and documentation to communicate quality performance to stakeholders.b.
