Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality through rigorous testing and inspection processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality control, fabrication, powder coating, and injection moulding. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product standards are met.
- Conduct inspections and tests on products at various stages of the manufacturing process, including fabrication, powder coating, and injection moulding.
- Identify and address any defects or non-conformities in the production process, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions and improve product quality.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of inspection results, quality reports, and corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Proven experience in quality control, with specific expertise in fabrication, powder coating, and injection moulding.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in quality control or related fields is a plus.
